| Why is it sometimes called Elvia and sometimes Mondial?
In Spain, Mondial Assistance Group consists of Elviaseg, an insurance company, and Mondial Assistance, the services company. The diversity of our products and services means that in certain cases such products are insurance policies and therefore must be taken out with Elviaseg. In other cases, such as services, contracts are signed with Mondial Assistance.
At a commercial level, Elvia is the brand used for travel insurance and Mondial Assistance is for assistance and other services. |

Why should I take out Travel Assistance Insurance? |
| When you leave your familiar surroundings, there is an increased risk of incidents, and simply because you are far from home, they are even harder
and more complicated to solve. The further afield you go, the longer it takes to get there, and the remoter it is, the more essential it is to take out insurance.
Regardless of whether you are signed up with Social Security, there are many services that are not included: repatriation for health reasons, baggage loss, compensation in the event of accident, compensation for interrupted holidays, early return…Travel insurance is therefore an essential travel companion. |

What should I do in the event of an incident? |
| In the event of an incident, you should immediately notify ELVIA of the circumstances; if assistance-repatriation is required, you should call 902 21 31 00 if you are in Spain or 34 91 452 2914 if you are abroad (the numbers are attended at all times, 24 hours a day, every day of the year), indicating where you are, your telephone number and the type of assistance you require. Calls for assistance from abroad may be effected at reversed charge.

Is it secure to pay by Internet? |
| Your card details are sent in code directly from your computer to the bank server, where they will be processed. Therefore, only the bank will have access to your details. When you enter your card details on our page, click on pay and the system will confirm valid entry. |
